Bagnoli del Trigno, a gem among rocks and fragments of the medieval past

The pearl of Molise, as everyone calls it, is a breathtaking village. Nestled between the imposing rocky mass that separates the Trigno River and the Vella stream, Bagnoli del Trigno unfolds.

The town is divided into two halves, both geographically and culturally, known as Terra di Sopra and Terra di Sotto.

The entire village is dominated by Castello San Felice, which stands tall on the upper part of the historic center on a limestone rock. You can also admire the Church of San Silvestro, whose bell tower rises tightly between two large rocks.

Every August, the village takes a step back in time for the great event of Frammenti d’Antico, an authentic historical reenactment.
