About Combat Road – War Museum

The Combat Road association was created with the aim of sharing artifacts, materials, photographs, information, and testimonies about World War II in the Molise region.

The museum in Cerasuolo, a hamlet of Filignano, continues to grow. The association keeps exploring the conflict’s sites, right in the heart of the National Park, systematically discovering new artifacts to be displayed at Combat Road.

The promoters of this initiative, on several occasions, have traced and returned name tags bearing the names of soldiers who fought on this front to their families.

It is certain that the Combat Road Museum today is a true treasure available to all, primarily the younger generations.
