Forest Bathing in riserva

Forest Bathing is a sensory immersion into the forest nature where you stay in silence to let nature speak with its sounds, colors, scents, textures, and flavors.

To do a “forest bath,” no swimsuits, headphones, or floaties are needed.

This practice originated in Japan, known as “Shinrin Yoku”, and is considered its own preventive medicine.

It is a wellness practice based on nature, allowing you to regenerate energy in a simple and direct way, while also strengthening the immune system and refreshing after a stressful week.

We will enter Bosco Casale in silence, in listening, and with respect for the place and its inhabitants, seeking a deeper relationship with the surrounding nature.

There are many benefits, affecting both mind and body. The oxygen, volatile substances, and colors produced by the plants enhance breathing and lower cortisol levels, the stress hormone. They also promote the production of serotonin and dopamine, the happiness hormones.

If you’re curious to practice and would like to try this beneficial practice but lack time for a full immersion, I offer a small introduction to Forest Bathing every Tuesday for one hour, suitable for everyone.

What Will We Do?

Through activating the senses and a meditative walk, we will learn to slow down and tune into our breath, recovering energy, motor balance, and good mood.
