About Horseback Riding

Immersed in the green landscape and in contact with the wild nature of Alto Molise, ride along ancient tracks, roads, paths, and trails once used exclusively by the shepherds of Molise, guided by certified FISE (Italian Equestrian Sports Federation) guides and skilled instructors.

In Carovilli, in the province of Isernia, Altavia Horse Riding organizes horseback rides and trekking offering spectacular views from its equestrian complex and along mountain trails.

Horseback riding excursions through the forests, valleys, and hills of Molise vary from one to six hours, or can be more extensive, lasting the weekend or more.

Among these, the Trekking Colle dell’Orso takes you across a beautiful plateau with varying landscapes, where cows and horses roam freely, allowing you to ride alongside herds and even through them.

Also not to be missed is the Magical Forest, a forest of ancient beeches and pines on a hill, surrounded entirely by rocks with only two access points, making the visit truly enchanting.
